one of those projects ...
oh well .. I started writing this from scratch about one and a half weeks ago. sadly my free time is coming to an end again,
and as the game is kind of fun, I'll just release it as it is for now. Next up is/would be implementing the multiplayer part (thus the join and host) buttons, but as I've never done anything multiplayer-wise in Godot I'm not sure whether I'll be able to finish it soon, we'll see.
yes ... more units with different behaviours are planned and are actually pretty easy to add. It's mostly generating the anims and (for new behaviour) extending the mob script a bit. and more spells too (again, it's mostly working on the assets and changing some parameters in the configs ...). Doing both isn't super exciting, programming wise, and I write small games mostly because I like coding, and less because I want to create assets (even if I subscribed to craftpix.com's asset library to remove most of the tedium ... Too bad a lot of their asset packs are misaligned or have other faults and need rework to be useable).
so .. there you have it. Like the other games I have on itch.io, this amy or may not be worked upon, but is in a playable state, so .. /shrug ;)
